Seminar Series on “Holistic View of National Security”

THE civil service is an integral part of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) governance system, and civil servants should be proactive in discharging their duties of safeguarding national security. In this regard, the Civil Service College launched the “Holistic View of National Security” seminar series to provide systematic and continuous training for civil servants to recognise the necessity of safeguarding national security in a complex international environment and act in full accord with the HKSAR Government so as to support the work of safeguarding national security.

The seminar series, delivered by the team of experts from the Center for a Holistic Approach to National Security, consists of seven talks and provides a comprehensive analysis of the development of the holistic view of national security, its main content, its significance to the country’s development and the challenges of safeguarding national security.

The seminar series covers the following topics:
