Biography

Mr Chan joined the civil service in 1987 and has worked in various government bureaux and departments.  He was Principal Executive Officer (Project Planning and Accommodation) in the Judiciary in 2016.  Mr Chan became the Director of General Grades in October 2018.

Schedule of Responsibilities

  • Overall management, training and development of the Executive Officer, Clerical and Secretarial Grades (the General Grades)
  • Formulation and implementation of human resource management policies for the General Grades
  • Civil service examinations
  • Bureau's e-business co-ordinator
