Training Officer Grade
Most of the Training Officers are working in Civil Service Bureau and some are deployed to work in other government bureaux/departments. They are responsible for providing training and development services to civil servants, and for providing consultancy and advisory services to bureaux/departments on human resource development.

Duties and Responsibilities
Members of the Training Officer grade are deployed on the following duties:
- providing consultancy services to bureaux/departments, providing advice on human resource management/training and development policy, e-learning and knowledge management;
- assisting in the sourcing/selecting of suitable training providers for departments;
- undertaking training administration work, including the interpretation of Civil Service Regulations on training, calculating training costs, etc;
- developing and conducting language, communication, human resource management and information technology classes;
- assisting in the overall administration of training programmes and the administration of training schemes.
