Administrative Arrangements

The need for an examination is usually stated in recruitment advertisements or in departmental circulars.

Invitations to attend an examination are usually sent to candidates by post two weeks before the examination.  The invitation letter normally sets out the date, time, venue and other information about the examination.

The examination is only held on the scheduled date and no alternative arrangements will be made.

Candidates should take the examination at the time and place on the scheduled date specified in the invitation letter.  Owing to limited seats in each examination centre, requests for a change of examination venue will not be entertained.

Enquiries about or requests for review of the examination results should be directed to the recruiting departments/grades unless stated otherwise in the invitation letter.
