Introduction

The Government is committed to promoting occupational safety and health in the Civil Service. In 1996, the Civil Service Bureau set up a Working Group on Occupational Safety and Health in the Civil Service to formulate measures for promoting safety and health of staff at work. In the same year, the Government signed the Occupational Safety Charter to show its determination to work with both management and staff towards a healthy and safe working environment. To this end, the Government has organized a series of publicity and educational activities such as exhibitions and seminars to promote occupational safety and health at work.

This section provides updated and useful information to enhance civil servants' awareness of the subject.
