Staff Relations

The General Grades Office (GGO) maintains close communication with grade members through newsletters and circulars / letters.  The Director of General Grades holds regular meetings with staff associations and conducts consultation / briefing sessions on special issues.  To further enhance staff-management communication, GGO encourages departments to set up General Grades Consultative Committees (GGCCs) to hold regular meetings between departmental management and representatives of the General Grades staff to discuss departmental matters / new measures and staff welfare issues.  Representatives from GGO will attend all GGCC meetings to address the views and enquiries concerning grade management policies and related issues raised by the grade members.
