Training and Development Objectives

The Civil Service Bureau designs training and development (T&D) solutions to facilitate the delivery of efficient and responsive public services. The training programmes and consultancy services support bureaux and departments in implementing their T&D plans. The Civil Service Bureau aims to deliver T&D activities which are :

(a) designed to improve the performance of civil servants and reinforce the basic principles and core values of the civil service;
(b) integrated with human resources management practices;
(c) meeting the changing needs of the civil service;
(d) facilitating a self-learning and continuous improvement culture in the civil service; and
(e) cost-effective.
