The following promotional activities will be held in the coming months:

1. Exhibition on "Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders"
   
   The exhibition is being held between April and July 2006 at 12 government office buildings.  It aims to introduce to staff members the main causes of musculoskeletal disorders and preventive measures such as proper posture, workstation design, administrative control, relaxation exercise and etc. All colleagues are welcome to visit the exhibition (application is not required).

2. Seminar on "Dancing with Stress"
   
   Through interactive discussions, speaker will explore with participants effective ways to tackle stress and adversity in the workplace and elaborate on how to develop a positive perspective towards stress. Participants will also be able to practise some relaxation exercises.  The seminar will be held on 23 May 2006.
   
   
3. Seminar on "First Aid Care"
   
   Representative from the Labour Department will speak at the seminar to introduce first aid care in various emergency situations like wound bleeding, fracture, sprain and shock etc. Demonstration of bandaging will also be provided. The seminar will be held on 29 May 2006.
   
   
4. Seminar on "Anti-mosquito Measures and Personal Protective Equipment"
   
   Speakers from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Labour Department will brief staff members on mosquito biology, prevention and control of mosquito problems, and selection and safe use of common pesticides. In addition, the seminar will introduce selection, use and maintenance of various kinds of personal protective equipment for protecting the occupational health of staff in carrying out anti-mosquito duties. The seminar will be held on 2 June 2006.
   
   
5. Seminar on "Occupational Health for Office Workers"
   
   Speaker from the Labour Department will be invited to elaborate on potential health hazards and their possible effects in office working environment, and introduce various preventive procedures and control measures to participants. The seminar will be held on 29 June 2006.
