2005 Civil Service Pay Adjustment

After careful consideration of the matter in consultation with our legal advisers, the Government has decided that the second phase pay adjustments specified in the Public Officers Pay Adjustments (2004/2005) Ordinance should continue to be implemented with effect from 1 January 2005.  After the Government's application for leave to appeal against the Court of Appeal's judgment has been considered, I shall write to you to confirm the decision and provide more details.
