SCS leads delegation of Permanent Secretaries to continue visit to Shanghai
The Secretary for the Civil Service, Miss Denise Yue, leading the delegation of Permanent Secretaries of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) departed for Shanghai today (September 16) after concluding the advanced national studies and visit programme in Beijing.
On arrival at Shanghai this afternoon, the delegation first called on officials of the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission to get first-hand information on the latest development of the city. Later, the delegation met the Bureau of the Shanghai World Expo Coordination for a mutual exchange of experience on organising international events.
In the evening, the delegation will attend a dinner hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Government to foster closer liaison between HKSARG and Shanghai officials.
The delegation will also take the opportunity to visit Expo 2010 Shanghai China before concluding their visit on September 18.
