Civil Service Volunteer Action

Introduction

The Campaign The Civil Service Volunteer Action is a one-year campaign commenced in April 2007. The target participants are existing members of departmental volunteer teams and civil service colleagues who have yet to join the volunteer teams. NGOs and members of the public will also be involved through the organisation of voluntary activities. The Civil Service Bureau will work together with  relevant departments to provide voluntary services under five specific themes, namely protect and conserve our environment, share our work with the community, caring for the community, promote a healthy lifestyle as well as promote arts and cultural activities.  Colleagues of departments will also organise voluntary activities under the five themes, so that more people in need can be benefited.
