The high inflation rate and the widening wealth and income gaps in
Hong Kong have posed a heavy burden on the underprivileged. It is the Community Chest’s role to identify and address the various needs through the Chest’s 150 member social welfare agencies, to deliver vital and valuable services to the needy in
Hong Kong.
Support The Community Chest, join Dress Casual Day! By donating HK$60 or more, participants can dress in casual to work on Friday, 30 September 2011. Let’s enjoy a fun day while showing your care for the needy! For those who have to wear uniform, you can also put on a “Dress Casual Day” Sticker to show your support. Your organisation could also choose to designate your donations to a particular social welfare service supported by The Community Chest.
To boost donations, your organisation is most welcome to consider topping up or matching the funds raised by your staff. As a token of thanks, an acknowledgement advertisement listing the names of participating organisations will appear in newspapers on the event day.
