Young Reporters Another thematic activity "Young Reporters" was organised on 10 and 12 July 2007 at the headquarters of Information Services Department (ISD). Around 60 students from five secondary schools, namely Caritas Chong Yuet Ming Secondary School, Yan Chai Hospital Wong Wha San Secondary School, HKMLC Queen Maud Secondary School, SKH Tang Shiu Kin Secondary School and Lai King Catholic Secondary School were invited to visit the headquarters of ISD. The activity aimed to enable participants to have a better understanding of the responsibilities and operation of ISD. The students first watched a short video about the role of ISD and its daily operation and work. Then, staff of ISD led the students to tour around the offices of Photographic Section, News Division and the Government e-Bulletin Section. Following the visit, ISD arranged a mock press conference for the students. A student was nominated from each school and interviewed about his/her views on the visit by other students who acted as young reporters. All students actively took part in this session and found the programme very interesting.
