Housing benefits for recruits
offered appointment on or after 1 June 2000

As part of the fringe benefits package developed under the Civil Service Reform, the Administration has introduced a Non-accountable Cash Allowance (NCA) for eligible recruits offered appointment on or after 1 June 2000.

The NCA will be payable for a maximum aggregate period of 120 months during an officer's service with the Government. The NCA is 100% non-accountable and no downpayment loan is provided under the NCA Scheme.
